What grit were you using when you sanded?

I used rustoleum on parts I painted 2 years ago, all looks great still. I think the adhesion promoter is where you went wrong. Also, if you didn't get all the soap off it will make the paint kind of go crazy on the surface. Sand it down where the paint went crazy and try again. That adhesion promoter is an important step. I've never used fusion but it sounds too ford for me
