You can also use a chain whip, and an old belt.

Wrap the belt around the pulley then take the chain whip and lock it in place around the old belt. Have someone hold that or wedge it, or figure a way to hold it.

The 1/2" break bar, with a pipe and its easy, no leaving the car in gear or anything .

Just one other method.
