You may know this already, but a major component of the sound is driven by the engine itself due to the cylinders, and harmonics, and all kinds of mumbo jumbo I don't completely understand but I have a pretty good idea about. The exhaust then just takes that and refines it.
So again, don't expect M6 sound.
