I talked to a local body shop the other day about painted or vinyl and he recommended putting vinyl stripes on and then doing a clear coat over the vinyl. He said he had done this setup to a few corvette owners that brought their cars to him and it turned out great. I welcome the feedback from anyone that has any knowledge on vinyl and clear coating.
