For most highway speed driving, it's not a real problem. Even drag racing where you get up to 120 briefly, it shouldn't be a problem. However, at a sustain 140+, the movements of the cowl at the windshield is pretty scary. If I was to do the Texas mile, I would probably have the stock hood back on.
