Crappy Albuquerque, NM Highways...

So, there I was, 0545 in the morning, headed East on I-40, doing about 65-70mph, passing a semi-truck on his left side, when from out of nowhere, he sends a snow shovel head into my lane. Absolutely ZERO time to react, other than to see it spinning in slow motion into my lane, my brain to recognize it as a shovel head, my eyes go wide in horror, then......WHAM!!! took it right on the fascia, just to the right of the left fog lamp. It punched a hole in the fascia, then proceeded under the car where it got wedged in between the sway bar end-link and lower control arm, pressed against the wheel and tire as well. After limping it off the inter-state and into a convenience store/gas station, I was able to borrow a jack from one of the counter employees and a really crappy pair of slip-joint pliers. 40 minutes later, after removing the left front tire, I was able to remove the offending piece of crap. Pics to follow....this is some
