There are quite a few Camaros around with the old script badges. You can buy repop versions online that are finished exactly the same as the stock badges so they won't pit or wear any differently.
I'd also recommend cutting off the mounting peg on the back and using 3M tape to mount them vs. drilling holes in your fenders.
