Don't think anyone said you need the FPCM if you have a BAP. As I said above, they are different means to the same end, without getting into opinions about which is the better route. I went with the FPCM because of ease of installation. I felt that I preferred to just swap the FPCMs instead of splicing a BAP into my wiring and running a boost reference line.
