Just wondering what you guys are doing to protect your rear quarter panel (behind the rear wheels). I just went to the drag strip for the first time last weekend and although I only used my street tires and went around the burn out area, that's all about to change. Just bought some rims and drag radials are on the way. I've seen guys cake on wax and others that use blue 3M tape. Seems like we could get a clear (3M) vinyl that would protect this area from chips and it could just stay on all of the time?

I know they make such a product ($75-95?), but I wanted to see what your thoughts were.
