I've been eying the 2010 for awhile, imaging having one, but I have always said I would never buy a new car, because it's such a waste of money (in my eyes). Well last week my Cherokee broke down again causing a 7 hour trip to become a 25 hour one, and I've had enough. Problem is, I need a car now, and it's hard if not impossible to get the Camaro now.

How plausible is it to get one from a lot? I'm guessing the only way for this to happen is if an order fell through and the dealer is left with it? When will dealers get some on the lots (non preorders)?

I have a setup I would like, but it isn't a must. I would take something close, something that might be sitting at a dealership. I simply want a 1LT or 2LT automatic in black or red.

Lastly, since I've never bought a new car (or a used car from a dealer), how could I find a dealer that may have one for sale - just call around?
