One thing is the K&N is over oiled. Ive never had one oil up my MAF on any one of my cars. They come over oiled from K&N even on purpose for evaporation while its on the shelf. I clean mine when they are new and reoil them properly, doesnt take much.
Two, I wouldnt worry with it. Once you get up into the larger name brand kits your splitting hairs. If you have a good intake keep it, if you dont just buy the one that looks the best to you among the better name brands.
