Do you not watch the indie races? Do you know how wide their front AND rear tires are? Know the trick to NOT hydroplaning? Purchase tires that displace water VERY well. You won't get a lot of mileage out of them because the rubber will be a tad bit softer, but you also won't hydroplane. Yes, they are a bit costly too, but hey...you said wider tires hydroplane.
