ZL1 seemed to REALLY like the 1300-2000 range for cruising on our little driver. Very little noise (if any, really..), reasonable throttle/acceleration responsive, and good fuel economy (relatively speaking).

It's just so flippin' torquey. There was a small stretch where rpms dropped to 700-900 or so...you could tell the engine was huffing a little...but it wasn't upset about it.

Shifting above 5500 activates skip-shift, for whatever that's worth...redline 6200. It's not a screamer...but it PULLS HARD!
