At the drag strip with 500 RWHP or less lowering coils don't really help or hurt performance. Over 500 with drag radial or slicks hard launches bring the rear suspension close to bottoming on the bump stops. Get into 700 and the Camaro bounces off thee rear stops, loading and unloading.

The first drag two drag strip modifications should be:

#1 Sub-frame bushes or inserts
#2 A rear alignment that sets rear camber as close to 0.00 as possible with the toe IN 0.10 to 0.15.
