Like someone else said, watch the Junkman videos and learn proper technique. The most important things to know: the less you touch the paint on your car, the better; never wipe down your car without it being foamed unless you're just removing unmatted dust; always use two bucket technique with a foam gun when you wash; understand and accept the fact that the paint on your car will NEVER be perfect (and if you think it is, just wait a few days).
