I completely agree, same questions went through my head when I was told this.
My thought... People with money are going to go to the dealership and buy a Camaro with the highest sticker price without knowing what they are buying. I highly doubt the one's that bought a Z28 and returned it are C5 members. It makes sense that a true 'car guy/gal' knows what they want when it comes to American Muscle.
