a L99 2SS stock camaro will beat any srt8 0-60 and 1/4 mile - according to every motor trend vid ive seen.
think of active fuel management as this - cuts down to somewhere between 4-8 cylinders during times of low stress/acceleration; it kicks them right back in when you step on it. if you turned your dod off, then your afm is off (mines off).
no offense - predator tune is crap - all shelf tuners are crap. spend about $150 more and get a custom tune and have it dyno'd (before and after the tune) to see some real numbers. when you figured with a k&n filter and predator tune - you would be lucky to get maybe 10 at the crank. ask anyone who is honest first of all and has done this. after a quality CAI, magnaflow 3" stainless comp series cat back exhaust, and a custom hp tune - i gained 20rwhp and 13 ft lb torque. thats real.
i would also suggest for you (i'm getting this soon) - underdrive pulley kit. will knock off parasitic drag and you will gain a few more hp.
