I reread then clarified the the first post......I did not put in
Full synthetic in at this time but will switch over to it after a few thousand miles (next oil change)...I used the GM 5w 30 Dexos that the dealer has on tap...
Factory oil had about 700 and still looked like honey.....My first oil change was free so I just did it.
