I am in Savannah about 2 hrs away. Coastal Chevy changed mine last year and did a pretty good job. No leaks or fit issues afterward. Not sure if you want to drive that far but some would say it is worth it. Only issue was the routing of the cables over the quarter windows and that took 5 mins to correct myself.

Once the fabric is damaged it is a replacement by GMs standards. I recommend you send a message to Brandon, cust rep on this forum, and get a case opened. It circumvents the dealer inconsistencies and their varying opinions on what they want to do.
