I used 3M Scotch Guard on beige/tan cloth seats in my 2004 Dodge Ram when I bought in new and it has helped keep my seats stain free all these years. I think it's made for indoor/upholstery only though, not sure if it's ok for outdoor use. It sounds like the 303 product is for outdoor use. I've never tried DuPont brand Scotch Guard.
