Smaller cams will give you power and tq where you need it. Larger ones will move everything up the rpm range. Example: 224-228 will give you all your hp/tq from about 2,000 rpm to about 5500-6000. 230 + moves the power band up to around 4,000 rpm to red line. This is just a general guideline, results may vary.
