Small metal shavings in engine oil
Hey everyone,
After running 10 runs at the 1/4 mile drag strip last night I checked my oil this morning and found a few very small shiny metal shavings on my dipstick :( I'm wondering if this is a common occurrence or if this is something I should be very concerned about....idk if the shavings were there BEFORE I raced since I didn't bother checking the oil because I just changed it about 500 miles ago or so. I'm using 5w30 mobile 1 and an AC Delco oil filter.
