Yea, if this thread was accurate, why wouldn't we have heard anything up until now?
The only thing I can think of is they built some cars with the combo (IOM outside, blue ABL inside) and said "BLEH, that looks like crap!" and decided to change it. And since practically no CTF cars were built with ABL, they didn't really realize it. But this scenario really doesn't make all that much sense (they would HAVE to have known before now).
