As far as the game, with all due respect - I find it highly doubtful a video game would have more information about a car than what the manufacturer allows to be leaked. Who knows though? I could be talking out my @$$.
Video games take a long time to develop, usually 12 to 18 months, maybe even longer. If a car company wants an upcoming product to be featured in the video game, especially if the car is going to be released around the same time or after the video game, they have to share a lot of confidential information with the developer to be sure that the car is modeled properly.
