every manufacturer has incremental price increases throughout the year so when next years model comes out people don't get really shocked when they see the difference. for you guys who have already ordered prior to 9-1-09, gm will provide the dealer with price protection on a bona fide sold order (i.e. the car was ordered sre- sold retail, and the way it was ordered will be the way it is titled with the same name address and phone number) so in the end i wouldn't get your panties in a bunch just yet. just think, you probably saved 5 grand just waiting til now anyway by not paying over msrp!
