Question Camaro LS Question: Traction Control

I see that the 2010 Camaro's have traction control standard (as like most GM cars). My question is, has anyone experienced a rear wheel drive platform from GM with traction control?

How well does it perform in comparison to FWD cars with traction control?

My plan is to buy a new Camaro LS next summer (when our lease is up on our Cobalt using the summer pull ahead program). I don't want to drive it in the winter, so my plan is to buy a $1500 beater for the winter (I live in Wisconsin). If for any reason I am unable to find my beater car prior to the start of winter, I am curious as to how well these platforms perform in winter condtions, if worst comes to worse.

I have been wanting a Camaro since I was 16 (20 years ago), and the wife has given the "permission", so now is the time.

Any experience you have had would be interesting to hear.

Thanks fellow Camaro fans!
