All the problems above is why I have yet to buy a vehicle with built in NAV, that and the price. My $150 Garmin Nuvi does more than most built in NAVS and its dead reliable. Sure, it has to sit on the dash or attach to the windshield, but I get lifetime updates for free and Garmin supports these things forever. My old Streetpilot 2720 is still going strong and I can still get updates for it.
