There are many computer updates available since the early models. Had mine in 3 weeks ago for updates.
I would do the fuse pull before you take it in. That was the first thing they asked me and were happy that I had taken car of it because it takes up time (couple hrs or overnight). They had my car all day working on updates. Didn't notice any change except for default settings and such. I also didn't have any problems either.
Find a decent dealer... those guys are worthless and simply don't want to do the work. Just be glad you didn't actually buy the car from them...
