The 4.6 also requires a special tool to remove the coil pack before you can get to the spark plug. I understand the book calls for 4 hours to change plugs in the 4.6 GT the first time. Some people may have problems, though, as there are apparently a number of them that strip the threads out of the head to get the plugs out. I truly hope GM does not require a special tool to remove the coil packs or plugs. I think the guy that invented the 2 piece, battery-operated wet mop works for ford... please let him stay at ford
