You have to ask yourself if you want to wash, dry and re-oil the filter or not. I myself bought the dry filter as I didn't want to mess with oiling it. The other thing is the environment you are in. It is not that dusty where I am at so I went with the dry filter. I see your location says Texas and assuming it is a dust bowl you may want to consider oiled but then again that is your preference.
