Unless thats the only mod you plan on doing yes they are pointless for the price. Add a tune, bolt ons, a pulley swap and youll be happy you did, you wont see much of a change going to high flow cats on the dyno, more then likely you will see a large MPH change at the track.

When i had a Maggie 112 on my GTO i was stuck running 11.7 @ 114.XX, gutted the cats and ran a test pipe, showed no increase in power on the dyno, but ran 11.4x @ 118.XX.
