I looked at the chevy website and one thing that stroke me was the fact that they would offer 0% financing for 60 months on every other car but the Camaro. They even offer 0%Apr on the Corvette as well. What is wrong with GM? Why not offer 0% Apr on Camaro too (to qualified customers, of course)? If you are offering 0% Apr in most of their vehicles why not include Camaro, which is a car that people actually want to buy? Imagine they offered it - they would sell hundreds of thousands of them.
They would definitely get customers like me, for instance. I would buy one right now if they offered 0%Apr on the Camaro, but the fact that I do not want to pay 5%,6% or more on a $37K car (2SS w/ some options) is holding me back a little not to buy since I already own a car (Volvo XC90) and could wait for the Camaro to go down in price, or could wait for better deals in the future.
I believe, offering 0% Apr on the Camaro would only help GM.
What are your thoughts on this?
