No...I grew up in the North End of VA Beach. I just thought the spider complimented the sinister look of the ride and knew that my plate frame would cover the UR text
My youngest daughter is actually enrolled there now and will be starting fall semester. One can get any interest group plate one wants in VA. It just so happens that this one fit the look.
