Virtually every brand of car, has had some sort of problems. How would you like to be the vaunted Toyota Brand right now. And having to deal withthe acceleration problems being reported. Sounds just like Audi way backin the '80's with their unidntended acceleration problems.

It happens to the best of them.. Buy the car, do the 60 day return if you are that uncomfortable, and see how you like it.

If that doesn't work for you, stay with what you really want to do.
