Also make sure the fascia is properly installed, they are very flexible and have seen customer not properly install the lower 10 mm bolts, the lower bolts will position the complete lower section of the fascia drastically changing the overall position of the splitter.

The only real way to properly verify this would be to remove the splitter and set it on a perfectly flat surface like a rigid table.

Thanks for chiming in. my T5 is the racing package version, so it came with all nuts and bolts instead of rivets. so there really isn't any other way to install it. i had a shop put it on for me and they took the facia off to do it.

i didn't notice it before, until i noticed it. now i see it all the time. in time, hope i'll forget.

here's another shot of it. more of the same angle as Angrybird's picture (by looking at the tire reveal).
