I ran the Hankook Ventus V12's on my 2009 CTS-V after the OE Michelin Pilot's wore out. I got 22k out of the Pilot's, drove the car pretty hard and they were good to the last drop! When I say i drove the car pretty hard I mean in the twisties (never seen the logic of the street burnout).

The Hankooks were 1/2 the price of the Michelins ($900/$1700) BUT they lost their performance at about 8,000 miles. They still had 4-5 32nd's but would get "slimy" when they heated up. I sold the car with the Hankooks on it, but would have sucked it up and went back to the Michelins if I would have had it when they need to be replaced.

FWIW - I am NOT a fan of Goodyear performance tires, I don't think they are a good value (cost/performance/wear). Michelins are the best.....and priced accordingly. Hankooks might be a good choice if you are on a budget or use the car to commute but expect less performance and less life.
