Well I've decided I'm gonna start with a Magnaflow Resonated x-pipe, see if that helps make this a touch more acceptable, before I decide to cut a hole in my V1's. Might knock a few dB's off them as well. I went with the v1's cause I wanted the idle to be nice grumble, and was afraid that the v2's wouldn't have it. With the v1's I have an awesome idle, but the things are way louder than any youtube video I've ever seen, almost unacceptably loud. I'm hoping the x-pipe will get me into my ideal sound range, and knock out some drone. If that doesn't eliminate all the drone, then J pipes are in my future.

kessler, how long are your j pipes and where is that measurement taken from, where the pipe meets the v1 to the end of the pipe?
