Hi!
European here aswell and I've gathered some info about importing the Camaro (almost a year ago
)
1) GM has officially stated that Camaro5 will be oficially available from 17k euros for V6 and 23k euros for SS. Now I only got this news in polish from here
http://www.autokrata.pl/lod/4920/camaro_od_17_tys_euro/ (in polish only, sorry)
and can't find ATM confirmation from any english-language site (and german sites are all about importing from US with insane prices like 37k euros for 1LT...)
2) GM dealers are forbidden to sell Camaros overseas, so you'd have to find "your man" that'll buy the car "for himself" and then ship it to Europe. That is, if you can't / don't want to wait for the car to be oficially available on our side of the ocean.
3) Some numbers and thoughts concerning importing Camaro into Europe:

The import taxes vary between countries. A lot of them are imported through Germany. There's a recent trend to import cars from the US through Lithuania (pretty low VAT and registration costs, possibly also lots of "tolerant" workshops that can sign your car Europe-ready without the costly lights changing)
