Yeah that's cool if you're a hunter and you've got that camera laying around 6+ months outta the year.
If you're really worried about vandalism, then you should go more high-tech.
Infrared, yes... high definition... motion detected... connected to a security dedicated computer with plenty of hard drive space that auto-deletes every couple weeks.
