Replace the factory amp, it'll make a huge difference and if your still not happy then change the door speakers. Taking the door panel off is easy. Takes about 3 minutes. I've had mine off several times.

That's how I am working on mine. Did the amp and fark harness and added a 10 bazooka tube. Thumps like crazy and does sound a lot better now. Next is to change out the speakers, just need to find the time. Been busier than a one legged man in a butt kicking contest lately.
