I own a 2012 LFX A6. I was hoping someone could answer a few questions/concerns I have regarding having a custom tune installed. I certainly don't know what all is being done to increase HP, but isn't it dangerous to advance timing to get the increase. Doesn't GM use the parameters that it does to protect the engine/drivetrain? I would love to improve the capabilities of my engine as well as the tranny, but how safe are these changes? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
