Do you know what a funny car even is? lol..
They use the same motors as top fuel dragsters. My dad use to have a rear engine dragster we ran every weekend at San Antonio Raceway. For bracket racing though obviously. not top fuel or alcohol.
A funny car is a car with a motor that pulls over 8000 horse power and runs in a quarter mile roughly around 4.4 seconds at roughly 330 mph. Thats 1000 horse power per cylinder. Every time the NHRA come to Dallas or Houston I go. When the IHRA comes to San Antonio I'm always there too. Its fun to be apart of it.
