IPS had to reweld my cutouts to make them fit, but they were not the same brand as yours. But, they put them where the off road pipes would normally go (right behind the headers).
I compared my cutout sound to a friends. He put his in the bend further back on the exhaust. Mine were noticeably louder.
I'm not sure if I'll be getting cutouts for my new exhaust or not. I'm not sure they will do much for the sound in a TT car. I should start a thread...

I'm gonna try and do it up front. Put some good turn downs and hopefully have room to angle it the way I want. Just gotta look.
