I'm still stock I'd go for some 87 if I was taking a cross country trip or something. I usually only take mine on joyrides though..... spirited, redline inducing joyrides.
About this rumor of stations not selling you what you are paying for? I'm sure it happens from time to time. It's just like any other crime, to most it's not worth the risk.
