Well the old V6s had either a 5 speed manual or a 4 speed automatic, right? That would mean that your first gear was either a 2.48(auto) or a 3.75(manual) at best. The current Camaros have either a 4.03?(auto) or a 4.48(manual) first gear. You need a lot less rear end gear to have the same multiplication. Kinda apples to oranges. So it can be argued that 3.91 and 4.10 would be a bit too much for the current Camaro...
