So after my months of beating my head into the ground on a cam for my car, I finally found the one! Lunati just came out with 3 grinds made just for ls3 heads, they are not on the web site yet but are available. They have basicly 3 stages and I am going with the middle one.
218/228 @05 .549/.566 112lsa 108icl RPM range 1800-6400
This cam is way off from the normal cams being run that I see, but I am pumped to try! Will be running this on the stock ls3 springs as well. Tech told me this cam will have a some what lopy idle and make allot of mid range power with a good boost in top end. I was going to run there 222/228 and was informed by tech that cam is ment more for an ls2 and would not run as good. I am hopping for about 450hp at the wheels with a sick torque curve with this little cam
. Hopfully next month the weather will start to break and its going in, cant wait
