Interior wrap

Hey guys does anyone know how to remove the door inserts and long and short dash spear on a 14 ? I want to wrap it in some 3m Carbon wrap. I have some interior safe pry tools! Thanks in advance! I'll post pictures here when I'm done!

Pry tools won't work for the door panels, you have to actually remove the entire door panel. here is a video for a 2010, I am pretty sure it's the same method

the dash pieces you'll be able to remove with a pry tool though.

No problem!! These forums seem a bit desolate these days so I try to help out where I can.... not sure about wrap but I know a lot have repainted them but I don't see why wrapping wouldn't work. I've actually been thinking about plasti dipping mine.

I actually wrapped mine myself in matte red! It was super easy and looks awesome. The good thing is if you don't like it pull it off apply another color.

I've thought about dipping mine as well. However I like the carbon fiber look. And the only think that would worry me about plasti dipping it is passengers being rough on there side and it peeking or getting scuffed.
On a side note has anyone tried doing their steering wheel.l? I have a 1LS so the wheel is kinda a hard plastic and I don't think I'm gunna do the wheel itself but maybe use a piece to do a carbon fiber center line at the top. Wonder if that would look good and hold up?

I hydrodipped mine with carbon fiber pattern. Came out really nice. Really good thread on here somewhere about the door panels. You have to cut off the plastic heads and use screws and washers to install them back. Dash parts are cake to get off and back on.

Here is the thread:

I put vinyl over my door panels, just stick & trim.
Didn't want to go to the trouble to remove them.

On the dash strips I actually wrapped those, because it was just "clipped" in.

Thanks crc91!
Biloxi is about a 2 hour drive from Florida.

The 3-D Carbon will look good!

Oh alright, cool man I'm from right outside New Orleans. Going to Pensacola in a few weeks for a little vacation, know of any car shows in the area for the weekend of the 19th?
I hope it will. Just got a decent paycheck from work so I'll be giving it a shot this weekend!

Wrapping is the easiest to do. Dipping requires door panel disassembly.
heres mine, oh and the ABL shines through with the right film
