Talking 3m 1080 Carbon Fiber Vinyl on Roof

Darn it how do i post this with pics?

What do you guys think? My wife and I are trying to do something different that we've seen on other cars. Personally I really like it but I'd like to know your opinion. My son's and I did this on a saturday evening. 1st Camaro, (although I did have a 1976 Firebird Formula when I was a kid) New to the Forum... Be nice...

You need to upload your pics to an image hosting site like imageshack.com or photobucket.com

Then you can post the pics here

OR you can upload the pic as an attachment. Just click the paperclip button on the "go advanced" posting screen.

................and yes it looks wonderful. Do you have plans for using it as striping material on the hood and deck lid areas?

thank you all for the compliments. I completely ruined a whole sheet and this is the second one. Going around the antenna I was too lazy to remove it PLUS it's a pain so my boy and I laid it all down and then when i went to cut the hole for the antenna i cut it too far back. Ugh. I was thinking of using it for the taillight bezels as i put some vinyl on the back where the bowtie is... I can't get the bezels out i tried for about 15 minutes on one and gave up. Another day... Anyway, there are two different Vinyls out from 3M one is called Di-NOC and the other is just 3M 1080. the DI NOC is only for indoors or interior as it is susceptable to UV rays. What I used is the 1080 which has a 10 year outdoor warranty. It's amazing stuff. I want to do the hood stripes but i feel it might be too much? IDK. Once again thank you all it's a great group of people on here.

VERY nice!!!

I'm actually thinking about doing this to the hood and trunk of my red LT/RS.

The place here in Cedar Falls says the carbon fiber print vinyl they have is only good from 6 to 12 months.

I definitely need a stock # for your 10 year carbon fiber print vinyl so I can give that to them for my hood and trunk.

Please post the info here.
