Looking for nice low mileage car near Podunk, KY. Just started looking. I've seen a big spread in prices. $39k - $70k. Been talking to the dealer Country Chevrolet in Virginia asking $66,999 for a 7k miles car. He just decided to mention the cats have been cut off!

. What the hell? Who would do that? With only 7,000 miles on the car?

Anyway, looking to spend mid 50s for a good example. Edmund says...

Trade-in - $51,794
Private Party - $54,102
Dealer Retail - $56,382

Let me know if you have one you're hinking of parting with, or if you see one on a dealer lot. Help a fellow member out.

You didn't say whether it had headers or not, but headers and a cat. delete are not uncommon on these cars. Many of them were tracked, be it "open" or "solo" and the owners did cat. deleted to get a little more "umph"

I know you specified black but the AGM of member Supercup recently found itself in the hands of a dealer (located in CA.). Maybe PM him and find out the details, would be a good one to grab.

When you say delete, you mean the owner deleted them, right? Not the factory or dealer. Those cars wouldn't pass emissions testing or be street legal, right?

Anyway, I drove 400 miles to Chicago and bought on. Paid $66k, but the damn thing only has 2,200 miles, original tires and no mods. 2015, #438. Still has the new car smell. Drove home great. What a beast. Can't wait till Cars and Coffee. There'll be some choking on the coffee because I didn't tell my buddies I was getting one. Fun!

Wow! Great find! More pics needed! I really like the red Zs (but I say that about all of them!) With a/c or without? I hope with that low mile beauty you plan on keeping it original. Here's a breakdown of production #s if you haven't seen it yet.

When I was in the market I couldn't bring myself to buy a red one but man how my opinion has changed as of late... I'd love to have a red one in the garage next to my white one.

Yes, I meant the owner deleted them. That's only illegal if you get caught!!! Hahaha

We don't have emissions or safety inspections in Alabama (go figure) so that's a non issue.

Congrats on a beautiful car. There is a red one here in town and it is the REDDEST red I have ever seen!
