Fen, do you know if the 2.8L diesel will make its way stateside? Could be a very interesting platform if it does.

um....
the front end and headlights ......um....NO the four door model........um......definetly ......No two different diesel motors...so diesel only.....No Guys/GM..... IMO think ya missed the mark on the mid-size make over. Hope ya do better on offering something for the small truck market.... hint...the El Camino........

By the way, remember that if this does make it stateside (which it appears that it will after the UAW contract for Wentzville), its sole competitors would be the Tacoma, and to a lesser extent, the Frontier. Pretty much everyone else has pulled out of the market. Market it, price it, and package it correctly, and GM could have a hit.

The overseas markets are pretty much obsessed with diesels. They haven't really caught on well here for whatever stupid and inane reason, hopefully that changes soon with the Cruze Diesel.
Similar displacements but different power outputs.

I really like it. About time Chevy made the Colorado good looking.

I like it looks good but it does seem a lil disproportioned like the front end is huge compared to the rear.

I like it. Its a way late, much needed overhaul to bring the Colorado back into the 21st century. Two different diesels are nice, i imagine it'll be one diesel and the 2.5DI I4 that the Malibu gets when it reaches states side. Its a good looking little truck, although i'm not too fond of the big circle HVAC control. I liked this design for the HVAC MUCH better.
But other then that... it looks like it could make a splash in the market here!

That and old people still are probably stuck with the idea of the old diesels that were horrible, loud, and didn't have any power...
